Floral prints burst into bloom in all shapes and sizes and were featured on the runways everywhere from New York to London to Paris and Milan. Tribal is another theme that has carried through from Winter to Summer. Animal prints fabrics look sexy whether featured on chiffons or ‘satins’ and can be seen on everything from lightweight coats to flimsy undercover!
Stars and Stripes featured strongly in Paris and have been predicted by Vogue as one of the season’s hottest trends – as have playsuits and all in one jumpsuits. Kate Moss was, naturally, ahead of the season (and the fashion pack) with a star-studded catsuit worn to her birthday celebrations. |

Colour reached saturation point on the catwalks from fabulous yellows to greens that ‘jolt’, electric blues and bright flame reds and oranges. Overall the runways proved a combination of the romantic, feminine and colourful so there’s plenty of looks to choose from to create a stir over the coming months.
